Green Mountain Panel, based in Brattleboro, Vermont, is one of the first producers in Structural Insulated Panels in the United States. Starting in 1981, Green Mountain Panel’s precursor, Winter Panel, started producing the finest quality Urethane Foam Structural Insulated Panels in a converted shoe factory in Brattleboro. Over the ensuing 30 plus years, Winter Panel shipped panels for over 3000 structures: homes, schools, commercial and institutional.

State of the Art Production Line

Green Mountain Panel’s state of the art production line can produce 5,000 feet of panels per hour, 40,000 per shift, cut to length. Our CNC pre-cut facility then cuts the openings, channels and chases required for each individual project, so you have minimal job site waste! Green Mountain Panel’s design capabilities allows for tremendous flexibility in dealing with projects. Our in-house design department can take a concept from the back of a napkin and turn it into finished construction drawings. So whether it is a commercial cold-storage facility, college dormitory or the house of your dreams, Green Mountain Panel delivers.

One of the best Urethane Panel producers in the USA, Green Mountain Panel continues to ship only the highest quality, highest R-Value panels to markets, domestic and abroad. In 1992, we were selected to represent the US in residential construction with a SIP house at the Seville, Spain EXPO92. Other exotic sites for our structures are Antarctica, where the materials for the structures were air dropped onto the site. We have structures in such varied climates as the African Sahara and Greenland.
